The Product

The Portfolio Management System bring connectivity to all major crypto Exchanges, Custody and Blockchains in order to aggregate all assets / tokens held into multiple venues. We aim to support multiple asset classes (spot, derivatives, and to connect with the main DeFi protocols).

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our PMS (Portfolio Management System) Feature Team composed of 7 tech savvy & talented people (3 FE, 2 BE, 1 PM, 1 UX).

You’ll handle several challenges at different levels:

• Connectivity side
• Develop and maintain our existing partner integrations (extend supported scope, enhance current implementation, migration to new API end points, bug fixes…)
• Integrating with new 3rd party data provider (Centralized Exchanges, Custody solutions, Market Data providers…) mainly exposing API (either http or websocket for real time purpose)
• Inter connect with several Nuant’s micro-services (On chain data provider, Metrics library etc…)
• Core side
• Implement easy to complex computations to provide insightful analytics and performance indicators to our customers
• Expose in a proper and most efficient way data to FE through a GraphQL API
• DB
• Ingest, transform & store data fetched from different sources
• Constantly enhance the performance to keep lowering the latency through our data pipe (fetch, store, process & render)
• Make sure all sensitive information is safely stored & encrypted

The ideal profile

• 5+ years experience in backend development. At least 2 years in NodeJS
• Experience in Nest.JS is a must
• Experience in developing APIs (GraphQL will be a plus)
• Strong experience working with SCRUM methodologies and agile delivery (and actually enjoyed it !)
• Practical experience in microservice architecture
• Ability to apply software Craftsmanship principles (DDD, CQRS…) and strong advocate of development best practices (Documentation, UT’s, Clean code, Continuous Integration)
• Knowledgeable on various database systems, especially PostgreSQL, Redis
• 5+ years of experience preferably in a B2B Software company
• Fluent in English
• At least some interest (Degen also accepted) in Crypto/DeFi Industry (previous experience is definitely a plus)
