Data Practices & Platform Transformation Program

You will be an active contributor to  the IDS Data Transformation Program that targets a revamp of the way we delivery Data Products @ Thales taking into account the  On Prem Data Platform Roadmap :

·     Review, Validate Improve the  Data Products Architecture Patterns target state

·     Define & Implement Roadmap to shift from legacy Patterns to the target

·     Define & Implement Data Quality Practices

·     Define & Implement Data Modeling patterns (Vault, Kimball, etc.)

·     Define & implement the strategy to maintain the Legacy Data & BI Products

·     Define & implement the target state for Thales Domain Data Warehouses

·     Define & implement the target state of Self Service BI architecture patterns

·     Identify gaps and weaknesses in our data stack and continue to guide learning advancements for the Squads

·     Create and implement a Master Data Management strategy to ensure data standardization, quality, and governance, and provide a single source of truth for the domains.

Description du profil recherché :

 

Who you are

·      As a data expert you have a solid technical background and experience in data-intensive systems (> 10 years).

·      Experience in an multinational Company with complex organizational ecosystem.  Working in the cloud with micro-services would certainly be a plus. You already have a significant experience as a technical lead or architect (>5 years). 

·      Experience with API Design & Development:  OAuth 2.0 (JWT), Swagger, Postman, Open API Specification

·      Experience working with large amount of data, Big Data processing – batch and streaming Kafka, Flink, Talend (Experience with any one of them would be a plus)

·      Completely Comfortable Working in a highly sensitive On-Prem data environment, where security constraints are part of the adventure 

·      Experience with Microservices Infrastructure management for Development; working on Docker, Kubernetes, Helm/Terraform

·      You have experience with architectural patterns of large-scale applications.

·      You have deep knowledge and experience in databases, DataMarts, Data Modelling, Data Governance, Data Security, BI tools, ETL Solutions, Data Science, DataOps, MLOps.

·      You know how to work with data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, architects, product ownners, top management.

·      You have the right mindset: You are autonomous and know where and when to take decisions taking into account the constraints.

·      You are dynamic & curious, with an agile mindset and a strong team spirit that allow you to adapt to a changing environment.

·      You are comfortable writing and speaking in English.
